Mal and his wife Alice, unable to have children of their own, take Mickey in and give him a father\'s love, a true mother\'s love, and a home he can call his own. Letty is jealous of Mickey\'s growing attachment to these two good people and she still sees Mal as a ticket to riches. Letty seduces Mal, records the seduction and then plans to blackmail Mal. Her plans are upset when Mal immediately tells his wife, and Alice accepts the relationship. Letty learns a painful lesson in selfless love and finally sees that what is best for Mickey is more important than her own plans.$

But he is also looking for Randall, and the people, whom Randall is working for, is telling Malak, where he can find Randall.$

Beautiful Stranger (

Into this little slice of life comes Herbert Lom, a confidence man, and he steals a bracelet that Baker had given Rogers and uses it to pay a debt. Enter a twist-of-fate (the US title that describes the film a lot better than the UK title, which is not unusual for films going from America to England but seldon vice-versa), and it ends up in Baker\'s hands. Strained creditabilty aside since many, many films depend on beating the coincidental odds, Baker assumes that Lom is Rogers\' lover, and this sin\'t a good assumption on his part sinve Lom kills him and then makes it appear as if Rogers and Bergerac did the deed.$
