In deel drie wordt Asano Tadanobu achtervolgd door de politie: hij eindigt op een dak waar hij een meisje in gijzeling neemt dat daar was beland om zelfmoord te plegen. Ishii\'s films combineren de ademloosheid van commercials en actiefilms met de compromisloze sensibiliteit van de experimentele film. Het zijn fysieke ervaringen, mede door de soundtrack, die nogal wat eisen stelt aan de technische uitrusting van de bioscoopzalen. Harde gitaren, maar ook extreem versterkte omgevings en bewegingsgeluiden, zorgen samen met technisch perfect uitgevoerde, trillende zooms en bliksemsnelle close ups voor een overdonderende ervaring.$
