When Ken Hensley left the Uriah Heep camp over 20 years ago, after a gig in Portugal, it seemed that a page had turned forever. So abrupt was his final decision, there was no opportunity for Ken to give a musical salute to the Heep faithful. So when Mick Box invited Ken to join Heep on stage as a special guest for The Magician�s Birthday Party 2001, Ken felt that the time was ripe to say a belated thank you to the fans. As a result, on December 7 2001, there was a one night re-union between Ken and the band he helped to bring to glory.
