Students at the Ridgemont School of Filmmaking are depressed because their faculty adviser is dead and the dean wants to cancel their production. A guest artist agrees to help them, but the star of their movie -- a ravenous monster -- is not amused. As the enthusiastic but clueless students blunder around a deserted house, the beast wreaks havoc and sends blood spraying to keep its secrets from being revealed
