In 2001 Peter Tetteroo, Pieter Groeneveld and historian Raymond Feddema traveled to the unknown and isolated Democratic People's Republic of North Korea to see what it's like to live in the last totalitarian nation on the planet. For a week they traveled empty roads, stayed in unoccupied hotels and visited deserted monuments while being closely monitored by the regime's guides.
