This film begins with the death of a newly-wed couple in a car crash. Adverse social reactions to their romance were expressed in unfounded slander, gossip and insinuations. Both emotional and cultural incompatibility rocked their nest of love. Despite this, they were able to marry, albeit amidst a show of protest from many people. Was their death suicide, homicide, or an accident?
