? central trio all seem like normal comedy characters: Marie (Kerri Lendo) is the put-upon maid always assisting others, Eric (Shannon McCormick) is the high-strung businessman too busy anything outside work, and Joe (John Merriman) is the slacker manchild still partying away long after college ended. The quirky comic stylings of writer/director Don Swaynos quickly prove otherwise, for nothing about his debut feature is ordinary. Think a surreal spin on Three?s Company or an offbeat episode of New Girl, but infinitely, endearingly stranger. There?s oddness, and there?s affection, and there?s acceptance of life?s universal eccentricities.
