Plagues of giant jellyfish are preparing to attack Japan - millions of these Sumo-sized gelatinous monsters will wreak havoc on Japan?s coastal towns. The giant Nomura jellyfish grows to over two metres long and up to 200 kilograms in weight. This program looks at the damage being done to fishing communities by the huge blooms, and follows the scientists racing to find a way to stop these giants breeding.
