Loose cannon Sgt. Richard Montana screws up a major drug bust and is passed over for promotion for Henderson, a cop he holds responsible for the death of his first partner. Disgusted, Montana throws in his lot with drug kingpin Gio. While he eliminates Gio�s competitors and gets his promotion, Gio�s lady tempts him into a scam that will see them both either rich or dead.
