Little House on the Prairie: With a Founder's Day event approaching for Walnut Grove, everyone prepares for a celebration complete with games and heated competition. In addition to pairing up with Mary for the three legged race, Laura looks forward to facing off against Nellie Oleson in a hoop rolling contest, and even Caroline gets in the spirit by participating in the pie baking contest. Although Charles initially plans to be a spectator, he finds a rare nemesis in Jim Tyler, an aging man who has worked hard all his life and thrives on his former reputation as the "Bull of the Woods." As the log-splitting contest begins, Charles' younger and stronger body is poised to win the event--until Mrs. Tyler confronts him with a moral request.
