Little House on the Prairie: Charles naively clings to the notion that time in Walnut Grove is snapping his troubled son back into shape, but his optimism is shattered when Doc Baker brands Albert as the culprit after a shipment of morphine powders goes missing. Upon confronting Albert and recognizing the truth behind his recent behavior, Charles believes that the worst is finally over, but as Albert meets with the nightmare of withdrawal, Charles finally realizes that the problem is larger than anything he himself ever imagined. So begins the exhausting task of helping his beloved son recover from a horrifying drug addiction--an event that will test the power of this once-strong father/son relationship. Meanwhile, to create some comic relief through this devastating twist in Charles and Albert's lives, little Jason Carter convinces his parents and Doc Baker to let him have a pair of glasses, but not because his eyesight is weak.
