Taggart: The skeletal remains of a dismembered body are discovered beneath the floorboards of a house in Glasgowï¿½. The drama takes an unexpected twist when a nine-month-old toddler is kidnapped from a multi-storey car park, followed by a ransom demand of ï¿½50,000. Heading the enquiry is Jim Taggart, a local cop who has learned his trade the hard way, rising through the ranks. At his side, one of the new generation of graduate policemen, Peter Livingstone.
