Vanity Fair

William Makepeace Thackeray's masterful novel is turned into a sumptuous saga focusing on Becky Sharp, a beautiful, smart but poor woman determined to make her mark in society. Unlike his uncle, Scrappy is constantly looking for a fight, and it is all Scooby and Shaggy can do to keep him from hurtling head-on into every ghost and monster they encounter. Of course, after doing a little investigating, most of these ghosts and monsters turn out to be not so scary after all.$

When Jon-Erik Hexum who played Mac died, Jack Striker joined the show as an actual agent who joined Dani\'s team as the new model.$

$Watch Sense and Sensibility (1971) 0123movies-This early colour production of Jane Austen\'s novel has some strong casting (Joanna David as Elinor, Robin Ellis as Edward Ferrars, Clive Francis as Willoughby, Patricia Routledge as Mrs Jennings) and stays reasonably close to the novel, although the third Dashwood daughter, Margaret, does not appear. All the main events of the novel are here, and portrayed very well; despite the low budget this production also boasts some effective costumes and uses color well. In comparison to other versions, this stands up well but perhaps the most recent television version is stronger, and the Emma Thompson film more sumptuous.$
