R.O.D the TV: The girls Maggie, Michelle and Anita find themselves in a strange town and they are on another job; looking for an actor known as John Smith, who is said to have one of the Imperial Library books. Unusual events start to occur when Michelle suddenly disappears, as if she wasn't with them to begin with and suddenly Maggie is also arrested charged with murder; leaving Anita confused and alone. So it seems that the entire town is controlled by John Smith however this may all be just an act.
