The Most Evil Men and Woman in History: Profile of Ilse Koch, a former secretary of Heinrich Himmler who married the commandant of Buchenwald concentration camp and indulged her pretensions as a 'gracious lady', building an ostentatious house from embezzled funds. In the unreal world of the camp she gave free rein to her sadistic fantasies at the expense of the helpless prisoners, collecting tattooed skins and shrunken heads before her husband's corruption was exposed and execution quickly followed. Ilse escaped prosecution, but hanged herself in 1967
