They will guide our teams through each project, coaching them on everything from the merits of using a measuring tape to proper tool use. Over eight episodes, the five couples will battle it out to become ‘the most improved’. And for the first time in a handyman reality show, a final ninth episode will feature interactive voting from the audience to determine the winning couple. While the season-ending $50,000 Grand Prize is the ultimate goal, every episode will result in a tongue-in-cheek prize awarded to the best duo the week. (They will also have their photo mounted on the Wall of Okay.) Viewers can track the progress of their favourite team online, and even pick up a few skills themselves playing interactive DIY games and quizzes.
