(AKA The Valley) Between forests and hills, the Ahr winds through a mystical, foggy autumn landscape. In the midst of this idyll, a man awakens from unconsciousness on a vineyard. He does not know who he is, where he is and how he came here. Next to him is a dead young woman under the vines. As a stranger in the secluded town in the Ahr valley, he encounters an archaic-looking village community that seems to be keeping a secret from him.
