A two-person rescue squad was the premise of this syndicated action series, based on cases filed by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Wes Cameron and Skip Johnson faced such precarious situations as saving a woman who fell into an abandoned well, a man caught in a building collapse and a man trapped in a mine. Patty Johnson was Skip's wife, who just wished her husband had a safer job.
