I didn\'t think I liked Kirsten Dunst, but I was really impressed by her performance in this film. She goes from squeaky-clean and fresh-faced to disheveled, bleary-eyed and lost effortlessly. Watch. She really seems to age as the film progresses. I\'ve always liked Ryan Gosling, whose rigid, dead-eyed manner is perfect for this role. They have great chemistry and it\'s a terrific story. Very strange, lots of twists to keep you on your toes. A must see if you like twisted love stories and suspense.$

To be honest, the story is a bit lacking, but the action is very cool. There are some scenes which play more than others. The main character hardly ever talks and its really noticeable. I love Kate Bosworth in this movie, she is a saving grace to this film. I can\'t put my finger on it, but it is missing something. Its missing that \$

Faster (2010)

$Watch Faster 0123movies-I thought The Rock had abandoned us for Disney movies until I went to an early screening of Faster hosted by our local Rock station. No spoiler alert necessary because I\'ll keep this short. This movie is action packed from the opening scene but has two twist, one a whodunit, the other about a character\'s origin, not even hinted at in the previews. The plot starts simply enough. The Rock walks or rather runs out of prison after 10 years and starts hunting down the guys responsible for killing his brother. Things get complicated when the cops (Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino) and a playboy-assassin (Oliver Cohen) and his girlfriend (Maggie Grace, LOST!) start hunting him. There are great supporting actors like Mike Epps, Moon Bloodgood and Mr. Eko from LOST along the way. I enjoyed it, my wife enjoyed it and we are going with her family to see it again after Thanksgiving lunch.$

Casino Jack (2010)

$Watch Casino Jack 0123movies-Jack Abramoff was a very successful but very greedy Washington lobbyist who now sits in a federal jail serving out his 4 year prison term scheduled to released later this year. Director George Hickenlooper had the idea to tell his story and enlisted writer Norman Snider to put together the screenplay based on the facts of this true story. Hickenlooper spent 30 hours visiting Abramoff in prison to gather as much information as possible to add to their study of the historical documents upon which this movie was based. Oscar winning actor Kevin Spacey who plays Abramoff participated in one of these five jailhouse visits and he apparently hit it off quite well with the protagonist despite their being at opposite poles of the political spectrum. If you know the widely reported story of how Abramoff took excessive fees from multiple Indian tribes, was involved with shady business deals and paid off congressmen landing at least one in jail and causing Tom Delay majority leader of Senate to quit this position and his Senate seat, you may be a little bored as the details are played out. On the other hand, many viewers will be getting a great history lesson at the same time that they are seeing a very well done movie. Barry Pepper is sufficiently nefarious in looks and deeds as Michael Scanlon, Abramoff\'s partner who deserved more than he got for punishment. Jon Lovitz plays an almost completely serious role as a not so smart and crooked enough to end up in jail, business associate of Abramoff. Political junkies will love this movie. You can\'t help coming away from seeing it without wondering how can we let our political system continue to function without reigning in lobbyists. Hickenlooper related an incident, which he touches upon at the end of the film, where while in jail anticipating his release shortly before the upcoming 2010 elections Abramoff has expressed a desire to collaborate with the Democrats and reveal information that he knows about the Republicans in order to hurt them in this and future elections. While this film is scheduled for wide release and distribution prior to the November election, there is also another movie coming out at the same time about Abramoff, which is an actual documentary and may have the same name as this one. Instead of Kevin Spacey that one will star the real Abramoff.$

Rapunzel strikes a deal with the charming thief to act as her guide to travel to the place where the floating lights come from that she has seen every year on her birthday. Rapunzel is about to have the most exciting and magnificent journey of her life.$

When Marni learns that Joana does remember her she sets to expose her to her brother.$

$Watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 0123movies-Voldemort\'s power is growing stronger. He now has control over the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Harry, Ron, and Hermione decide to finish Dumbledore\'s work and find the rest of the Horcruxes to defeat the Dark Lord. But little hope remains for the Trio, and the rest of the Wizarding World, so everything they do must go as planned. After having seen HP6, I honestly didn\'t have great expectations in this one. I guessed it would be darker and scarier, as every HP movie has been darker and scarier than its predecessor. But HP6 was such a patchwork of scenes that didn\'t give you the feeling of a coherent work – I was afraid the even more complex story line of HP7 would make an even less coherent movie. However, I must say it was definitely a wise decision to split the 7th book into 2 movies. HP7 can take time to explain and introduce all the characters that are necessary to the plot. I love the way Voldemort and the Death Eaters are portrayed in this movie. They are no longer just anonymous caped figures. You can see them interacting with each other, discussing and well… being human. Well, I\'m always a big fan of the blurring of these clearcut good/evil categories in Fantasy. As the book is split into 2 parts, all of a sudden, there\'s also time for little embellishments I hadn\'t realized I had missed in the earlier movies! For example, I loved the scene so much where the feather floated through the air when the fairy tale of the Three Brothers was being told. Also drawing style that was used during the story was really amazing. This HP movie was the first of all that finally gave me the same feeling as Lord of the Rings did: Boy, this is not just some guys slavishly adapting a book into a movie, but they\'re actually autonomous artists and they have ideas of their own! And I don\'t mean they changed the whole plot (I wouldn\'t like that)! But (mostly visually) they did more than just bring across what\'s in the book. This also expresses itself in the decision not to include the childish Harry Potter musical theme (at least I didn\'t hear it, correct me if I\'m wrong) from the first movie that sounds like “Wow, everything\'s so magical here!” That tune was fine for the first movie, but as Harry got older and the movies got darker, it kind of felt like they had to force this theme into every movie several times even though it didn\'t really fit any more. Now the soundtrack, too, has finally grown up. And I loved it! Last but not least, the acting was brilliant! The tense atmosphere between Harry, Ron and Hermione really came across. Also with all the doppelganger scenes, you always still saw from their movements and behavior which character was which though they were in disguise in a different body. All in all, as the title says, this is a excellent grown-up movie and I can recommend it to everyone – except kids! If you have little kids, please don\'t take them. This movie has far too many scary scenes and little comic relief! Plus, the plot is quit complex including lots and lots of minor characters. It\'s really no longer a movie targeted at kids, even though it\'s still labeled Harry Potter.$

$Watch Unstoppable 0123movies-Unstoppable is a drama about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. Pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They\'re chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town. If youve read the synopsis above, you pretty much know the long and short of Tony Scotts “Unstoppable”. Based on the real-life story of an unmanned train that went careening down the tracks in Ohio after a railroad employee failed to set the air brakes while switching tracks, this dramatization of that little incident amps up the thrills for a white-knuckle 100-minute non-stop roller-coaster ride- just think of it as an adrenaline shot that pretty much grabs you by the throat and doesnt let go from start to finish. The setup is plain and simple- on one end of the track is rookie conductor Will Colson (Chris Pine), paired with veteran railroad engineer Frank Barnes (Denzel Washington) on his first day of work. Frank and Will each have their own share of family problems and each bear their own reservations of the other- so theres a fair bit of tension between the two of them as they begin their shift, especially since Will is seen as the companys new blood employed to replace the older workers (including Frank) who have one by one been forced to retire. Then on the other end of the track, some bumbling employee gets off a train in an attempt to switch tracks, puts the stick in throttle and sends the massive locomotive whizzing down rural Pennsylvania towards the more heavily populated areas. Corporate- represented by Kevin Dunns VP of operations- and local ground operations- represented by Rosario Dawsons rail commander- cant agree how to stop it, the former as usual weighing the options in terms of dollars and cents on the stock market. It is only halfway through the film that Frank and Will cross paths with said locomotive nicknamed “The Beast” and come out with a plan to link their engine to the back to it and gun it in the opposite direction. Tony Scott spends the first half of the film doing two things- one, emphasising the working-class backgrounds of Frank and Will; and two, laying out bare the peril of the situation. Both are deftly played for the nail-biting finish, which is guaranteed to leave you wide-eyed and open-mouthed. By portraying Frank and Wills as everyday men with real concerns over livelihood and family, Scott and “Die Hard 4.0? writer Mark Bomback make the point loud and clear later on that that real-life heroes are really just ordinary men who do extraordinary acts of courage in the face of danger and calamity. Indeed, though it is apparent that both Frank and Will are the heroes of the story, playing down the chest-thumping heroics of their act proves to be a wise choice in painting them as regular people who rose to the occasion to save the lives of thousands, including their families and loved ones. Scott instead stresses the magnitude of the occasion in repeated failed attempts at halting “The Beast”, each and every attempt highlighting the destructive force of the locomotive at that weight and at that speed. Choosing to film the high-octane action sequences in a more straightforward realistic manner than his usual flashy visual style (i.e. jump cuts, shaky camera, zooms and colour-correction) also lends the proceedings an authentic and an altogether genuinely riveting feel, further underlining the gravity of their heroic act. Special mention goes to the sound design of the film, which in a proper theatre with good sound system will set the hall rumbling with the sound of the locomotive. Because much of the focus of the film is on “The Beast”, more screen time seems to be dedicated to the train than to our two lead actors, Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. Still, the ever-reliable Denzel Washington delivers a low-key but no less commanding performance as the dutiful railroad worker Frank. He also shares a nice buddy chemistry with Chris, and its interesting to watch how the initial tension between the two gives way to mutual cooperation, understanding and finally respect. Unfolding at a breathless pace, Tony Scott makes the most of a simple premise to deliver a relentlessly exciting action movie that plays like “Speed” on tracks. It wastes no time in getting to the meat of the action, and doesnt once let up right until the end of the thrill ride. In between, you get the story of two men, folks like you and I, who display an outstanding act of heroism when faced with imminent danger. Precisely because they are so relatable, “Unstoppable” becomes so much more gripping, and youd be advised that this high-octane action movie is just the adrenaline fix you need for the week.$

This is one of the most real AND funny Rom/Com\'s that have come out of this stale city in quite some time. Often when one of these movies come out, hordes of women beg their beau\'s to come to the cinema to no avail. luckily for us, this is a fresh new look at an otherwise female driven genre. Going the Distance takes a look at long distance relationships from a REAL perspective. None of this Hollywood glitz. None of these fairy tale endings w/ friends who say and do what the producers hope the audience want to hear. It\'s like your watching a docu-drama about funny people. This movie showcases events how they would actually happen. People how they\'d actually talk and relationships as unpredictable as they actually are. Another refreshing notion is how this movie is told, in the majority, from the male\'s perspective. Not entirely, but enough. It\'s told from a place where humor, booze and late night / post weekend b*tch sessions w/ close friends and/or relatives help weave together a romantic story in a funny way. It\'s just how life happens! I\'ve seen this movie and can contest that it is the perfect concoction of humor, fun, romantic moments and hard R moments to make it a good fit for most couples. And guys, this will be a great way to go see a Romantic Comedy for your girl and get something out of it for yourself. GIVE IT A CHANCE, AND YOU\'LL BE TELLING OTHERS TO DO THE SAME.$

$Watch Megamind 0123movies-After super-villain Megamind (Ferrell) kills his good-guy nemesis, Metro Man (Pitt), he becomes bored since there is no one left to fight. He creates a new foe, Titan (Hill), who, instead of using his powers for good, sets out to destroy the world, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life. I watched this movie tonight with my wife and kids, we really enjoyed this a lot, i found myself actually attached to the characters and intrigued by the plot. i also found myself entertained with the action scenes. my kids also enjoyed it, more so than they enjoyed the lame Alpha and Omega. I guess most of you know what the plot is, so i won\'t go into it. it is just fun and involves super powers and super heros battles. most of you are probably reading this to decide whether to go and see it or not, let me say, go ahead, it is worth it and enjoyable !! And i also like to add, we watched it in 2D, so im not sure how it is in 3D, but im assuming just as good if not better.$

$Watch Saw 3D 0123movies-What a great ending of the most successful series to hit the theatres. Saw the Final Chapter. Detective Mark Hoffman, who acts on his own as the Jigsaw becomes a more complicated enigma where by finding new victims to hoist his status. By killing more victims using the most innovative traps to date. What was even more complicated was Jigsaw\'s widow trying to bring Hoffman in with the help of the police department by keeping her safe from Hoffman\'s wrath after failing to kill him. Jigsaw did not want Hoffman to keep killing, in fact he abhorred it. The reason for this, was because Jigsaw\'s old acquaintances was involved with just Jigsaw. Never people who were not directly involved in any way. This is what Hoffman was doing. He was killing people who were not directly involved in his life as the doctors or lawyers or even policemen who were involved with the real Jigsaw. This turn of events led Jigsaw\'s widow to try and kill Hoffman by Jigsaw\'s information. Yet in the background, Hoffman was being watched by none other than the original survivor played Cary Elwes. A true complete person who became Jigsaw\'s real right hand man. By this alone, Jigsaw got what he needed to be done right, even though his wife was to be a casualty. Never the less this film is as always gritty with iron traps and hydraulic joists. One of the most popular movie genre\'s to this day. Tobin Bell, (Jigsaw) is always wonderful to watch as he reprises his role to give the audience what they crave, to see justice done by way of the chain, spike, chainsaw, ripsaw etc etc. Recommended to those who love gore, blood, justice, and the idea that not all people who are they seem to be. Especially Cary Elwes, what a great twist to a great movie. Everything comes in a full circle.$
